We understand that every attendee has different educational objectives for attending Summit. That's why for Summit 2006, we've made it even easier to identify the sessions that best match your needs, and transforming them into a personalized agenda for your entire Summit experience.
New! Session Classifications: Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced For Summit 2006, you'll find three new session classifications that now correspond to product and technology solution sessions, as well as specific business or industry solution sessions. The introductory classes will address the fundamentals of key product, business, and industry solutions, including ECM, e-mail management, collaboration, records management, workflow, web content management, and more. New users to these products and solutions (both technical and business users) are encouraged to attend these sessions to gain a better understanding of all the possibilities Hummingbird Enterprise has to offer, and further explore how these products and solutions complement the ones they're currently using. Experienced customers of Hummingbird products, business, and industry solutions will find the intermediate and advanced sessions both informative and educational.
New! Agenda Planning Wizard With over 100 possible sessions to attend this year at Summit 2006, you'll find our agenda planning wizard quite helpful in identifying the right mix of sessions to meet your educational requirements!
We are delighted to bring you Summit 2006, our sixth annual worldwide conference and technology showcase. This year's Summit theme is "New Ways. New Horizons". New Ways promotes the idea of innovative and better methods of meeting organizational challenges and accomplishing tasks, and reflects on new and natural ways that customers can work with their content through the use of Hummingbird's products and solutions. New Horizons describes the goal(s) that was achieved. Equally important, it encompasses future possibilities that are now attainable by Hummingbird customers as a result of the New Ways that were implemented.
Building on the success of last year's conference, Summit 2006 will provide an expanded breakout session offering, allowing for the creation of a truly customized program to meet the individual needs of each and every attendee. Technical educational sessions will be offered for the entire range of Hummingbird Enterprise components, and attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about complementary Enterprise Content Management (ECM) components. Industry-focused business solution sessions will include e-mail and compliance management, geographic information system implementations, correspondence management, contract management, and content lifecycle management solutions that embrace emerging technology trends.
With Hummingbird customers, partners and staff attending from around the world, the networking opportunities are limitless. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet other executives, technical managers and administrators at numerous events designed for networking such as lunches, cocktail receptions and our Gala. Customer case studies from various industries will help attendees gain insight into the new ways that other organizations are benefiting from Hummingbird products and solutions.
Free Consultations At Summit 2006, we will once again be offering the opportunity to request a free consultation with Hummingbird Technical and Professional Services staff, to all those who purchase a Full Conference Pass via web registration. As there are a limited number of these consulting appointments available, they will be granted on a "first come, first served" basis to fully paid registrants. Be sure to register early to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
Workshops Hummingbird will be offering a limited number of these popular hands-on workshops as part of the Summit 2006 program. The topics for these workshops will be published in the My Agenda system when it opens early this Fall. Summit attendees will be required to sign-up for each workshop using the My Agenda system. Because space in these workshops is limited, this will allow us to ensure fully registered and paid attendees have access to the workshop sessions on a "first come, first served" basis.
